original, ideas & thoughts here soon !

a fun project idea to help get those creative gears going ! :O)

------------"The Creative Cabinet"------------

What I love about this project is that it is fun, versatile, & useful !
You could create a space for organized play as well as storage for a
younger sibling or a cabinet to showcase your own art or awards.
It is also a project that could possibly be a blessing for you to make
in a bible theme (like noah's arc) for your church toddler room !

All you do is wallpaper the inside of a cabinet with paintable
wall paper. (It's available at walmart for around $10 a roll). Then,
paint it with your own original design that will suite what you are
going to use the cabinet for !

If you are creating a cabinet to house your art, memories, or
awards, you may want to have your parents help you remove the
cabinet doors. You could glue (I recommend liquid nails) a piece
of pre-cut plexi glass to the front to create your own shadow case.
Most lumber yards will pre-cut material for a minimal charge.
Another option would be to have your parent drill holes in the
plexi-glass and simply adhere it with screws !

It makes wonderfully creative storage ! I created the one shown
here for my 3 year old (Jaeden) to give him an organized play area
that doubled as a place to keep some of his toys stored !

Another Project that can be created in this manner is a custom doll-
house ! It would make a wonderful, one of a kind gift that is sure to
make any little girl happy ! Here is an example of one that I've done:
